SPCA and Megan Coleman

Hi All,

A little update on my last photo shoot.

Megan Coleman, the ex-Miss South Africa and Patron for the Kloof and Highway SPCA spent a good few hours playing with a litter of 6 abandoned puppies at the SPCA. She kindly allowed me to

Photograph her for an awareness campaign in raising much needed funds for the SPCA through the sales of the Under an African Sky calendar, not into its 3rd year.

All photography for the calendar was by Shane Doyle Photography.

Enjoy the day!!

Family Shoot over Long Weekend

Hi Guys,

Another week and another few family shoots. Father and daughter shoot proving to produce a few nice images. Natural light was certainly the way to go

Using the cast light from the open windows. The shoot was done in the main bedroom with a little soft filter added in photo shop.

Colouring was a blend of black and white and full colour. Feel free to comment on the feel and mood of the images.

That’s it for now. Keep it real and happy shooting!!

2ND PLACE!!

Hi Guys,

Thought I would share my picture that one second place in the Olympus sponsored “Something I Saw on the Move” competition.

Won a small Olympus T100 for my efforts. Beats the toaster that I should have one in a golf competitionJ

Have a great long weekend!! I am off to the bush for my fix!! Zebra Hills, here I come!!

J

Congrats to South Africa for the great win over India. We did it in the cricket and in the Polo!!!

Love this Image as the two teams scramble for the ball!!

Hi friends. I took this picture in the Selinda Spillway in the Okavango in late January this year. It was submitted last night and the Hillcrest Camera Club and received lots of oohs and aahsJ.

The black and white makes it a much more captivating and dramatic image than the original colour.

Numbered prints are available for purchase.
